Toyota has announced the updates to the 2020 Toyota Prius Prime plug-in hybrid. While the standard Prius recently got a facelift, the 2020 Prius Prime is mainly just getting some content upgrades.

For starters, the 2020 Toyota Prius Prime is now available with a third seat in the second row, which means that it can now hold up to five passengers. It also comes standard with Apple CarPlay, SiriusXM and Amazon Alexa connectivity.

Smaller upgrades include two additional USB ports in the rear, black interior accents, a sun visor extender and re-positioned seat heater buttons in the front.

The 2020 Toyota Prius Prime still offers a 25 mile EV range and has a combined 54 mpg rating. The 2020 Prius Prime starts at $27,600 and is available in three trim levels: LE, XLE and Limited.
