Honda has unveiled the updates to the 2019 Honda Civic, which includes not only a slight exterior refresh, but the introduction of a new Sport trim level. The 2019 Civic sedan and coupe both also get standard Honda Sensing on all trim levels.
The 2019 Honda Civic sedan and coupe get an updated face with a new piano black upper fascia “wing,” restyled lower fascia, bumper and lower grille, a full-width front splitter, chrome side pod accents, and updated headlights. At the rear, there’s a new chrome accent on the rear bumper of the Sedan and both models get new wheel designs.
The new 2019 Civic Sport is positioned between the LX and EX. The Civic Sport comes from a piano black lower front fascia, side pod accents and, a splitter-style rear lower bumper with a chrome polygonal exhaust finisher. The Civic Sport sedan also gets a rear decklid spoiler. The Civic Sport also rides on 18-inch 10-spoke black alloy wheels. The Civic Sport trim is powered by a 2.0-liter 16-valve DOHC VTEC engine mated to either a CVT or a 6-speed manual. Inside the Civic Sport also gets an updated 7-inch Display Audio with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration and a volume button.
The 2019 Civic comes standard with the Honda Sensing safety suite, which includes Collision Mitigation Braking System with Forward Collision Warning, Road Departure Mitigation with Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keeping Assist System, and Adaptive Cruise Control.
