BMW has announced that the all-new 2019 BMW 3 Series will debut next week on October 2 at the Paris Motor Show. The seventh-generation BMW 3 Series will debut at the show alongside the Z4, new X5 and the 8 Series coupe.
BMW hasn’t released any other info about the new 3 Series beyond this new batch of teaser photos. We do expect that the specific 3 Series that’s hiding under the sheet is the M340i. It’s rumored that the M340i will be powered by a turbocharged 3.0L six-cylinder engine with around 360 horsepower.
The 2019 BMW 3 Series will also be a few pounds lighter than its predecessor, with some versions coming in at around 121 pounds lighter. The new 3 Series will also get an optional M sports suspension reduces the ride height by 10mm and the front and rear tracks are now 1.2-inches wider. The suspension also has a new damping system with lift-related dampers.
