2013 Mini John Cooper Works Countryman Unveiled

Mini has taken the wraps off the 2013 John Cooper Works Countryman, which marks the first time that the performance oriented John Cooper Works package is available on an all-wheel-drive Mini.

The Mini John Cooper Works Countryman will come standard with the ALL4 all-wheel-drive system and powered by a turbocharged 1.6L four-cylinder engine that packs 211 horsepower and 207 lb-ft. The John Cooper Works Countryman is also the first John Cooper Works model available for order with a six-speed automatic gearbox as an alternative to the standard six-speed manual. According to Mini, the John Cooper Works Countryman will reach 0-62 mph in 7.1 seconds.

In addition to the extra power under the hood the John Cooper Works Countryman gets an aerodynamic kit, 18-inch light-alloy wheels, a sports exhaust system with chrome tailpipes and door sills with the John Cooper Works logo. Buyers can also customize it with an exclusive selection of paint finishes, light-alloy wheels and interior materials available for order.

The John Cooper Works Countryman will arrive this fall.
