Mini has taken the wraps off the 2013 John Cooper Works Countryman, which marks the first time that the performance oriented John Cooper Works package is available on an all-wheel-drive Mini.
The Mini John Cooper Works Countryman will come standard with the ALL4 all-wheel-drive system and powered by a turbocharged 1.6L four-cylinder engine that packs 211 horsepower and 207 lb-ft. The John Cooper Works Countryman is also the first John Cooper Works model available for order with a six-speed automatic gearbox as an alternative to the standard six-speed manual. According to Mini, the John Cooper Works Countryman will reach 0-62 mph in 7.1 seconds.
In addition to the extra power under the hood the John Cooper Works Countryman gets an aerodynamic kit, 18-inch light-alloy wheels, a sports exhaust system with chrome tailpipes and door sills with the John Cooper Works logo. Buyers can also customize it with an exclusive selection of paint finishes, light-alloy wheels and interior materials available for order.
The John Cooper Works Countryman will arrive this fall.
