Honda unveiled the refreshed 2009 Honda Civic a few days ago and now AutoExpress claims that they have the first exclusive shots of the all-new 2011 Civic.

From these photos it looks like the next Civic (Euro spec at least) is going to draw inspiration from the Honda Open Study Model Concept that was recently unveiled. It also looks like Honda has taken some styling cues from the VW Scirocco. Some current Honda Civic styling elements are also going to carry over as well, such as the trademark single strip light cluster at the rear, but the split rear screen has been dropped to improve visibility. The three-door and five-door models are also going to become more distinct with the five-door being aimed more at small families with its taller roofline and softer suspension.

A 150 horsepower 1.5L IMA hybrid system is also going to join the other mainly carryover engines.

A new Type-R flagship is also in the works that will be powered by 2.0L i-VTEC engine.
