GM has officially unveiled the V6 powered 2010 Chevy Camaro, but has yet to unveil the V8 Camaro SS…although thanks to Fergie and Conde Nast, we have the first photo of the car.
Chevy and Conde Nast (New York magazine publishing giant) have produced an advertising photo spread that features pop singer Fergie next to the 2010 Camaro SS. The advertisement is part of Conde Nast’s free supplement Fashion Rocks.
The Camaro SS is going to be launced at the same time as the V6 powered Camaros next March, but is powered by a 422 horsepower 6.2-liter V8. At first glance it is hard to tell the differences between the two Camaros, but upon closer examination you can see the air slot above the main air intake that is only on the SS. There are also the larger brakes with Brembo calipers.
The Camaro SS is expected to start just under $30,000, with the V6 Camaros starting around $20,000.
