VW of America CEO Michael Horn has revealed that the next-generation CC may be offered in two versions, with one of them being a fastback version.
Horn recently spoke to Motor Trend, where he stated that “two versions are being studied” and that VW is “seriously looking at a fastback version as one of them.”

VW is trying to reduce the costs of many of its new models and the next CC will also hopefully get a price cut. VW is currently looking at options to build the next CC in the U.S. or Mexico, since import costs and exchange rates are driving up the price of the current CC.
