In addition to unveiling the new five-passenger Atlas concept, Volkswagen has also announced plans to unveil the R-Line package for the 2019 Arteon at the New York Auto Show. The 2019 VW Arteon R-Line adds unique touches to make the sleek Arteon even sportier.
The VW Arteon R-Line features unique 19- or 20-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, a unique front bumper that incorporates air intakes in a gloss black finish, R-Line air inlets and cover panels, and a gloss black rear spoiler. The R-Line package also adds R-Line badging. Inside, the Arteon R-Line gets contrast stitching on the steering wheel and shift knob, steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters, metallic décor pieces, a black headliner, and stainless-steel sport pedal covers and door sills.
All Arteon models are powered by a 2.0-liter TSI turbocharged engine with 268 horsepower and 258 lb-ft. that’s mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. 4Motion all-wheel-drive system is available. The 2019 VW Arteon will go on sale this fall.
