The 2018 Jetta will be available in six trim levels: Jetta S, Wolfsburg Edition, SE, SE Sport, SEL and GLI. The base Jetta S now has standard 16-inch alloy wheels and new chrome grille. If you step up to the new Wolfsburg Edition you’ll get different 16-inch “Linas” alloy wheels, a front sport bumper with fog lights, heated leatherette seats, leather gear shift knob and hand brake cover, a rear seat pass-through, and heated washer nozzles.

The Jetta SE also gets a new chrome front grille and comes standard with a sunroof and 17-inch “Bathhurst” alloy wheels. The Jetta SEL adds anthracite 17-inch “Lancaster” alloy wheels, the new chrome front grille, a rear spoiler, and a Fender Premium Audio System. The sporty Jetta GLI gets 18-inch “Bathhurst” alloy wheels, but the biggest change to the 2018 GLI is that it’s now only available with an automatic transmission.

2018 VW Jetta GLI

The Jetta 1.8T SE Sport and SEL are powered by a 1.8L turbocharged four-cylinder with 170 horsepower and 184 lb-ft. of torque. The 1.8L is rated at 24 mpg city and 33 mpg highway with the six-speed automatic transmission. Lastly the Jetta GLI is powered by a turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder with 210 horsepower and 207 lb-ft. of torque.
