The ID. Aero is slightly bigger longer than the Arteon and VW calls it the flagship of its EV lineup. Overall the styling is pretty predictable with styling cues from the other ID models. It also has a drag coefficient of 0.23, which is 0.03 better than the Arteon.

The ID. Aero is based on VW’s MEB platform and VW says that it has a 385 mile range on the European WLTP cycle, which means that it will have a driving range over 300 miles in the US.

The ID. Aero is slated to arrive in the second half of 2023 in China before it arrives in North America and Europe.
