MINI’s CEO Kay Segler has confirmed the name of MINI’s upcoming crossover/ SUV and it is going to be called the “Crossman”.
Up until now the upcoming crossover has been referred to as the Colorado, but that was only a temporary name according to the CEO that told Auto Motor und Sport about the final name. The Crossman is expected to be released in 2010.
Other details on the Crossman are that it is going to be built by Magna International at its factory in Austria (where the current BMW X3 is built) and as much as 80,000 units are planned annually.
