We’re still waiting for the debut of the 2020 Toyota Supra, but starting today buyers in the UK can place an online reservation for the new Supra.
Toyota has decided to start taking reservations now for the new Supra in the UK, since it’s only planning on selling 300 Supras in the UK during 2019. “The new Toyota Supra is a thoroughbred sports car with huge appeal to customers who are seeking a great driving experience and exclusivity,” stated Andrew Cullis, Toyota GB Marketing Director. “With only limited numbers available, we want to give people the earliest opportunity to secure their vehicle.”
Buyers in the UK can place their reservation now with a refundable £1,000 deposit. Once all 300 cars are reserved, other buyers will be placed on a waiting list for the new Supra.
Before you call your Toyota dealer in the US, you’ll want to know that Toyota is not taking reservations for the new Supra in the US. Carscoops reached out to Nancy Hubbell, Senior Manager, Toyota Product Communications who stated:
“We can confirm that we’ll be showing Supra the first half of next year. As for pre-orders and deposits, Europe is doing that for its markets, but sales will be handled differently here in the U.S. We’ll have more information to share when Supra is revealed.”
It’s being reported that the 2020 Toyota Supra will finally debut in January at the Detroit Auto Show.
