According to one recent report, Dodge’s engineers are currently working on a supercharged Dodge Viper.

2014-Viper

According to one recent report, Dodge’s engineers are currently working on a supercharged Dodge Viper. It’s widely known that the Dodge Viper isn’t exactly flying out of showrooms and with the arrival of the Charger and Challenger SRT Hellcat models, Viper sales may continue to slide unless Chrysler does something fast.
Both the 2015 Charger and Challenger SRT Hellcat are powered by a supercharged 6.2L V8 that generates 707 horsepower, which is more than the Viper with its 640-hp V10. According to Allpar, Dodge may be working on a supercharged 8.4L V10 for the Viper that could produce up to 800 horsepower.
