Subaru has announced the updates to the 2022 Legacy, which now has more standard features than before. The 2022 Legacy now comes standard with 17-inch wheels, while the Legacy Sport now comes standard with a blind-spot monitor, power moonroof and reverse automatic braking.

The 2022 Legacy is offered in six trim levels: Base, Premium, Sport, and Limited, Limited XT and Touring XT. The standard engine is a 2.5-liter flat-4 that generates 183 horsepower and 176 pound-feet of torque. The engine is mated to a CVT and Subaru’s Symmetrical all-wheel drive system.

For buyers that want more power, the Limited XT and Touring XT models are powered by a 260-hp turbocharged 2.4-liter flat-four.

The Subaru Legacy also comes standard with the EyeSight driver assist technology, which includes adaptive cruise control with lane centering.
