Subaru has announced the pricing for the 2021 Subaru Legacy and Outback, which start at $23,820 and $27,845, respectively. Both models are only $150 more than the 2020 versions.

2021 Subaru Legacy

Since both the Legacy and Outback were redesigned for the 2020 model year, the updates to both are small for 2021. The biggest additions are steering responsive LED headlights, a passenger seat belt reminder and a rear seat reminder.

The new steering responsive LED headlights aim the headlight beams in the direction of the vehicle, which improves visibility when driving on curved roads.

The 2021 Legacy is available in six trim levels: Base, Premium, Sport, and Limited, Limited XT and Touring XT. The 2021 Outback is offered in Base, Premium, Limited, Touring, Onyx Edition XT, Limited XT and Touring XT trim levels.

Both models come standard with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder boxer engine with 182 horsepower and 176 pound-feet of torque, that’s mated to a CVT. But if you want more power, there’s the turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder boxer engine with 260 horsepower and 277 pound-feet.

The 2021 Legacy and Outback come standard with the EyeSight driver-assist technology, which includes adaptive cruise control with lane centering. A 7.0-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and keyless entry are also standard.

Both models will arrive in October.
