Polestar has announced that the EPA has certified that the Polestar 2 Long range single motor version has a driving range of 270 miles, which is the longest range of any Polestar model. Polestar has also announced new over-the-air updates add a future option for a performance software upgrades that adds an extra 67 horsepower to the dual-motor Polestar 2.
The latest update also adds other features, like the the ability to schedule charging sessions and refinements to the Advanced Driving Assistance Systems. The performance software upgrade raises the output of the dual-motor version to 476 hp and 502 pound-feet of torque. Polestar has not announced the pricing for the upgrade.
