Ram has revealed more info about the 2025 Ram 1500 RHO pickup, which is a sport truck, but not quite as over the top as the Ram TRX. All Ram 1500 versions have said goodbye to the Hemi V8, which has been replaced by the Hurricane twin-turbo 3.0-liter inline-six.

2025 Ram 1500 RHO

The Ram 1500 RHO gets the HO (high-output version of the turbocharge six-cylinder, which generates 540 horsepower and 521 pound-feet of torque. The truck features a full-time four-wheel drive system with a 2-speed transfer case that gives it a crawl ratio of 2.64:1. Those specs are much lower than the 702 horsepower that the 1500 TRX had. But it still has more power than the standard Ford F-150 Raptor that has 450 hp and 510 lb-ft.

Ram says that the RHO can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 4.6 seconds, with a top speed of 118 mph.

Although the RHO loses the old supercharged 6.2-liter V8, it does borrow the TRX’s suspension with adaptive damping, Bilstein Blackhawk E-squared remote-reservoir adaptive shocks and a five-link coil system. The 1500 RHO offers more than 40% additional rear wheel travel compared to the rest of the Ram 1500 lineup. It also has a ground clearance of 11.8 inches thanks to its 2-inch ride height increase and 35-inch tires.

The RHO weighs 150 pounds less than the TRX, with that weight savings happening at the front of the truck. It can also tow a bit more at 8,380 pounds compared to 8,100 pounds.

In terms of styling changes, there are some small updates, like a different grille, LED lighting and badges.

Now for the good part, the pricing for the 2025 Ram 1500 RHO starts at $71,990, which is definitely cheaper than the TRX.
