Ram has announced the pricing for the 2027 Ram 1500 Rumble Bee, an all-new lineup of performance trucks that also ushers in the 5.7-liter HEMI V8 back to the 1500 stable.
That base Rumble Bee, with its 395-horsepower 5.7-liter HEMI, comes in at $62,790, including the $2,795 destination charge. But the family goes well beyond the entry-level offering with three other variants.
There is the Rumble Bee 392 with its 470-hp “Apache” 6.4-liter HEMI, and for those wanting more, the 392 Track Pack brings along aerodynamic and braking improvements as well as a performance suspension. Capping it off is the Rumble Bee SRT, which puts out 777 hp from a supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI.
Ram makes no bones about the SRT being the swiftest and most powerful V8 production pickup they have ever put together. With an eight-speed auto, full-time four-wheel drive and Launch Control, the manufacturer claims a 0-60 time of 3.4 seconds, a quarter mile in 11.6 and a top end of 170 mph.
To set them apart from the regular 1500, each Rumble Bee is built on a chassis with a 13-inch shorter wheelbase. Ram says the frame is 10 percent stiffer for better body control and handling, lending the truck a widebody look. They are all Quad Cab short-bed models, so while they are performance oriented, there is still room for utility. In fact, one can tow some 8,890 pounds or put 1,160 in the bed, which is more than enough for daily chores and far superior to your average half-ton.
The interior has been coddled for the enthusiast with a flat-bottom wheel, aluminum paddles and a console gear selector. Technology is up to date as well; options include a 14.5-inch Uconnect 5 screen, a 12.3-inch digital cluster and Level 2 Active Driving Assist.
Expect to see the 5.7-liter model at dealers in late 2026 as the first wave of the launch. The 392, the Track Pack and the SRT will come later in the first half of 2027.
