Polestar is putting its efforts in other modes of transportation, besides electric vehicles with the debut of a limited-edition mountain bike that it developed with Allebike. Polestar plans to build just 100 bikes, called the Allebike Alpha Polestar edition.

Allebike Alpha Polestar

The limited edition Polestar bike is based on the Allebike Alpha, but it’s carbon fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) frame has been codeveloped with Polestar and Allebike. Polestar says that the bike has been developed for the “downcountry” class. It also features a full suspension with Öhlins dampers. The air suspension has 130 mm of travel at the front and 120 mm of travel at the rear.

Each bike is hand built by Allebike in Sweden.

“Attention to detail, design and technology is integral when we develop our cars. We created the Allebike Alpha Polestar edition in the same spirit. Together with the great team at Allebike, we have crafted the perfect mountain bike for those who appreciate both a great ride and great design”, says Polestar CEO, Thomas Ingenlath.
