Polestar has announced the pricing for the Polestar 1 plug-in hybrid coupe, which will be priced at $155,000 in the United States. Buyers in China will be able to get the Polestar 1 for 1.45 million RMB and in Europe the coupe is priced at 155,000 euros.
Last month Polestar starting taking reservations for the Polestar 1 and it’s already received over 7,000 reservations from buyers in 18 countries. Polestar is hoping that the early momentum from the Polestar 1 means that its two following models, the Polestar 2 electric sedan and Polestar 3 electric SUV will also be well received. The Polestar 2 will launch in 2019, which will then be followed by the Polestar 3.
Polestar has not announced the subscription pricing for the Polestar 1, but it is scheduled to arrive in 2019.
