Nissan has yet to confirm what will power the new Z, but its expected to get the same turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 as the Infiniti Q60 Red Sport. In the Infiniti the engine generates 400 horsepower, but a new leak might have revealed that the 400Z will have even more power.
A forum member on the NewNissanZ forum caught the possible leak. The Nissan Z Proto was recently added on Project Cars 3 and according to the game it has 444 horsepower (331 kW) and weighs 3251.8 pounds (1,475 kg). If those are the specs for the 400Z, it will not only have more power the 2020 370Z, but it will also be a tad lighter. The 370Z has 332 hp and weighs 3,333 pounds.
The Nissan 400Z would also have more horsepower than the Toyota Supra, which has 382 hp and weighs 3,400 lbs.
