The 2022 Ford F-Series Super Duty has received some nice tech upgrades for the new model year, with the highlight be a new 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system with SYNC 4.
The new 12-inch touchscreen is standard on the Lariat and higher trim levels. The XLT keeps its 8-inch touchscreen, while the base XL has a 4.2-inch display. The larger touchscreen also gets wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
On the outside the 2022 Super Duty gets a new Lariat Sport Appearance Package that adds a body-color grille, bumpers and mirrors for buyers that want less chrome on their truck. The popular Black Appearance Package is now for XLT models. It adds 20-inch Ebony Black painted premium wheels, body-color front and rear bumpers, grille bars, and six-inch Ebony Black running boards.
Lastly there are some new color choices: like Atlas Blue for the exterior, a Baja interior for Lariat and a Navy Pier and Light Slate interior for Limited models.
Under the hood nothing has changed, so buyers can choose from either a 7.3-liter V8 or a 6.7-liter Power Stroke diesel. The 2022 F-Series Super Duty will arrive this summer.
