With all the news about electric vehicles lately, we’ve been wondering when Nissan will add a second EV to its lineup, due to the success of the Leaf. We’ve heard reports that Nissan is prepping a new electric SUV and now it’s being reported that Nissan actually showed it off to dealers last month.

There are several electric crossovers already on the market, so it makes sense that Nissan’s second electric car will be an SUV. According to Automotive News, Nissan previewed the electric SUV to its U.S. dealers, but most of the details are still under wraps.

Some of the dealers that attended the presentation, the electric SUV will have a 300-mile driving range, which will beat several models, like the Chevy Bolt and Hyundai Kona Electric.

We’ll have to wait and see if ends up looking like the IMx concept that you see here.
