Volkswagen has confirmed that it will introduce a production version of the T-Roc crossover concept in the U.S. The T-Roc (name may change) compact crossover will slot in below the Tiguan in VW’s lineup when it arrives in 2019.
The T-Roc concept originally debuted three years ago at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.
Although the decision has been made to build the compact crossover, it hasn’t been decided yet where it will be built. It could be built at VW’s Chattanooga, Tennessee plant, its plant in Puebla, Mexico or maybe even across the Atlantic in Portugal.
We’ll get to see the production version of the T-Roc later this year when it launches in Europe.
