2016 Subaru Legacy and Outback get steering and suspension tweaks

Subaru has announced the updates to the 2016 Legacy and Outback, which are getting improvements like, enhanced steering feel, a retuned suspension on Limited trims and a Lane Keep Assist safety system.

Subaru has announced the updates to the 2016 Legacy and Outback, which are getting improvements like, enhanced steering feel, a retuned suspension on Limited trims and a Lane Keep Assist safety system.
Subaru retuned the electric power-assist steering for all Legacy and Outback models to provide a more linear and natural feel. The Legacy Limited trim’s Stablex suspension dampers have been further refined to significantly reduce vibration over rough roads.

For 2016, the Premium and Limited trims now feature the new Starlink Safety and Security features. Two Starlink packages are available. The Starlink Safety Plus package includes SOS Emergency Assistance, Enhanced Roadside Assistance, Automatic Collision Notification, Maintenance Notifications, Monthly Vehicle Health Report and Diagnostic Alerts.

The Starlink Safety Plus & Security Plus Package adds Stolen Vehicle Recovery Service, Vehicle Security Alarm Notification, Remote Lock/Unlock, Remote Horn and Lights and Remote Vehicle Locator.

Pricing for the 2016 Legacy starts at $22,540 with the destination fees, while the 2016 Outback starts at $25,845.
