Mercedes-Benz has taken the wraps off the hot version of the 2014 CLA, the 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG.
The wait is over! Mercedes-Benz has taken the wraps off the hot version of the 2014 CLA, the 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG. Looking like a scaled down CLS63 AMG, the smaller CLA45 AMG follows in its big brothers footsteps and is powered by a turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder engine with 355 horsepower and 332 lb-ft. of torque. With that much power on tap, the CLA45 AMG’s engine is the most powerful turbocharged four-cylinder production engine.
The turbocharged 2.0L engine is mated to a seven-speed dual clutch transmission and all-wheel drive. The CLA45 AMG four-door coupe will reach 0-60 in 4.5 seconds and has an electronically-limited top speed of 155 mph.
The 2014 CLA45 AMG will arrive in November starting at $47,450.
