Inside the upgraded interior gets better materials and the latest tech features. Nissan has moved the Qashqai way up market with new features, like massaging seats. A 9-inch touchscreen sits on top of the dashboard, while a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster sits in front of the driver.

In Europe the new Qashqai will be available with three powertrain options. The base is a 1.3-liter four-cylinder with 138 horsepower and 177 pound-feet of torque, that’s mated to a six-speed manual transmission and front-wheel drive. The second option is a 156-hp 1.3-liter with either a six-speed manual or CVT that can be equipped with front- or all-wheel drive. Both versions of the 1.3-liter feature a mild hybrid system. Lastly the most powerful option is a hybrid with a 1.5-liter four-cylinder that generates a combined 187 hp and 243 lb-ft.

The new Qashqai will go on sale in Europe soon, but Nissan has not announced when it will reveal the 2022 Rogue Sport.
