The Knight Rider TV movie apparently received high enough ratings to make it into a weekly series according to the latest reports.
The new series has been green lighted for a premiere this fall due to the successful made for TV movie. Rumor has it that when the show is officially announced, NBC is also going to announce that it will be a contender for a Friday night time slot. You can expect at least Justin Breuning (Mike Tracer) and Deanna Russo (Mike Tracer’s Girlfriend) to be in the series. In addition the Ford Shelby GT500KR will also be back for the series.
