MINI has announced that the Clubvan concept that was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show this year, will enter production this fall.
MINI has announced that the Clubvan concept that was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show this year, will enter production this fall. Based on the Clubman, the Clubvan is a MINI for commercial users with its compact delivery van dimensions. It measures 155.9 inches long, has a width of 66.3 inches and a height of 56.1 inches.
The Clubvan has two front seats, while the rear bench has been removed to provide a closed off 30 cubic feet cargo area. The cargo area is 44.8 inches long and has a maximum payload of 816 pounds. The MINI Clubvan also has blocked-out rear side windows and users can access the cargo area either through the split rear doors or the right-side Clubdoor.
The Clubvan is powered by MINI’s 121 horsepower 1.6L engine that can be mated to either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission. It reaches 0-62 mph in 9.8 seconds and has a top speed of 124 mph.
The MINI Clubvan is available with in four colors: Pepper White, Ice Blue, British Racing Green metallic and Midnight Black metallic. Inside, black seats with Cosmos fabric upholstery, a black interior color scheme and Fine White Silver trim strips are standard. Leather seats are optional and buyers can choose between a bunch of extras like xenon headlights, black headlight shells, Adaptive Headlights, Automatic Climate Control, Park Distance Control and a navigation system.
