The luxurious S650 Cabriolet will be ultra exclusive. Mercedes is also only planning on producing 300 units, with only 75 headed to the US. It’s based on the S-Class Cabriolet, but it gets exclusive Mercedes-Maybach features, like a new front bumper and several chrome. The Maybach emblem is mounted on the vehicle’s wing and the Cabriolet’s exterior is finished off with 20‑inch Maybach wheels.
The interior is where the Maybach badged cabriolet moves further away from the standard S-Class cabriolet with its dynamic “flowing lines” in the seats, waterfall-like seat upholstery and wood veneer accents.
Under the hood you’ll find a twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter V-12, rated here at 621 horsepower and 738 pound-feet of torque. US pricing hasn’t been announced, but in Europe the S650 Cabriolet will start at 300,000 euros.
