2018 Genesis G80 Sport revealed with a 365-hp 3.3L turbo

The Genesis G80 is going to get a new turbocharged G80 Sport model for the 2018 model year. Debuting this week at the Los Angeles Auto Show, the G80 Sport is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.3L V6 with a nice 365 horsepower and 376 lb-ft. of torque.

The 3.3L engine will serve as the middle engine option, since it has more power than the base 3.8L V6, but less than the 420-hp 5.0L V8. To keep up with the new “sport” name, the G80 Sport also gets a sportier tuned 8-speed automatic, a revised suspension and upgraded brakes. Rear-wheel drive is standard, but all-wheel drive is optional.

In terms of styling, the G80 Sport gets a more aggressive front bumper, bigger side sills and a rear diffuser. The grille and 19-inch wheels also get a new dark finish.
