Mercedes-Benz has announced more details about the 2022 C-Class sedan, which is slated to arrive in the US in the first half of 2022. Mercedes-Benz originally unveiled the next-generation C-Class earlier this year, but now we have the details on the specific trim levels.

2022 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

At launch the only versions will be the C 300 and the all-wheel drive C 300 4Matic. The 2022 C-Class will be offered in three trim levels: Premium, Exclusive and Pinnacle. Each version will be powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 255 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. The engine is mated to a 48-volt mild hybrid system, which can add an additional 20 hp and 148 lb-ft. of torque for short periods. A nine-speed automatic transmission is standard.

2022 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

The 2022 C-Class comes standard with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and an 11.9-inch infotainment screen. Other standard features include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a sunroof, heated front seats, and 18-inch wheels. On the safety front, it comes standard with a blind-spot monitor, automatic emergency braking, and adaptive LED headlights.

The Exclusive trim level adds a 360 degree surround view system, wireless charging, a Burmester audio system, park assist, and ambient lighting. The top Pinnacle trim level adds navigation and a head-up display.

Mercedes-Benz has not announced the pricing for the 2022 C-Class.
