Mercedes-Benz has officially started the teasers for the next-generation 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLE SUV, which is going to debut this fall at the Paris Motor Show. Mercedes-Benz isn’t quite ready to preview the exterior of the 2019 GLE, so instead we have our first look at the interior with a series of design sketches.

The focal point of the design sketches are the twin digital displays that are 12.3-inches wide in the Mercedes-BEnz GLE. The 2019 GLE will also feature the new MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) infotainment system that debuted on the new A-Class a few months ago.

The 2019 GLE will also get a new steering wheel that has a whopping 18 controls with two touchpads within the horizontal spokes. The old rotary dial in the center console has also been replaced by a large touchpad. There are a few other design elements that we can see in these sketches, like grab handles on the center console.

The 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLE, known internally as the W167, will ride on a completely new MHA (Modular High Architecture) platform.
