The 2019 Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe is now rolling off the production line at the Mercedes-Benz plant in Sindelfingen. The arrival of the GT 4-Door Coupe marks the introduction of the third sports car developed in-house by Mercedes-AMG following the SLS AMG and the AMG GT.

2019 Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe

The Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe will go rival models, like the Audi A7, Porsche Panamera and even the upcoming BMW 8-Series Gran Coupe. The first versions to arrive are the AMG GT 63 and 63 S models, while a cheaper AMG GT 53 is going to be introduced by the middle of 2019.

2019 Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe

The Mercedes-AMG GT 63 is powered by a 4.0L V8 with 577 horsepower and 553 lb-ft. while the GT S generates 630 horsepower and 627 lb-ft. of torque. The Mercedes-AMG GT 63 reaches 60 mph in 3.3 seconds while the 63 S reaches the same speed in 3.1 seconds.

The Mercedes-AMG GT 53 will be powered by a 3.0L inline six-cylinder turbo with 429 horsepower that gives the 4-door coupe a 0-60 mph time of 4.4 seconds.
