Mercedes-Benz has already received more than 30,000 orders for the new 2014 S-Class, which only launched less than three months ago in Europe. It may not seem like that much, but in 2012, Mercedes sold 65,000 S-Class sedans in the EU.
“The new S class has already jumped back into the lead in terms of new vehicle registrations in Germany and its neighboring European countries,” said Ola Kaellenius, the new head of sales and marketing at Mercedes-Benz Cars.
Last week the 2014 S-Class reached U.S. showrooms with a $92,900 starting price.
