Mazda has announced that it is going to reveal a new sports car concept at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show, which kicks off at the end of October. According to Mazda, the concept “is modern but maintains a sense of lineage and authenticity, appearing almost to condense Mazda’s entire history of sports car development into a single model.”

As of right now we don’t know if the concept is a preview of a the return of the RX-7, but it would be nice, since there is a whole in Mazda’s lineup with the demise of the RX-8. There’s also a rumor that the concept will be powered by a Wankel engine.
