A few days ago Maserati unveiled the updated 2018 Maserati GranTurismo coupe in New York. Now the 2018 Maserati GranTurismo Convertible has officially had its public debut at Goodwood Festival of Speed in the UK.

Like the coupe, the GranTurismo convertible’s exterior has been slightly tweaked with updates like a new “sharknose” hexagonal grille that is inspired by the Alfieri Concept. The front fascia also gets new lower air ducts, that combined with the new grille, helps improve the airflow distribution and reduces aerodynamic drag from 0.33 to 0.32 for the GranTurismo and from 0.35 to 0.33 for the GranTurismo Convertible. The rear bumper has also been redesigned.

Inside there’s a new, high-resolution 8.4” touch screen that is compatible with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The lower console has also been redesigned to accommodate a double rotary dial made of forged aluminum and the repositioned button cluster for the car’s driving modes. The new Maserati double dial clock at the center of the dashboard and the Harman Kardon Premium Sound system are standard on both Sport and MC versions.
