Maserati has unveiled the refreshed 2018 Maserati GranTurismo, which now has a slightly restyled exterior. The updated 2018 GranTurismo made its debut at the Experience Square, at the main entrance of the New York Stock Exchange.
The updates to the 2018 GranTurismo are small, but its new sharknose grille is inspired by the Alfieri concept. The front fascia also gets new lower air ducts that help improve airflow and reduce the aerodynamic drag from 0.33 to 0.32. The rear of the 2018 GranTurismo gets a new bumper.
Inside the 2018 GranTurismo features a new, 8.4” touchscreen and Harman Kardon Premium Sound system. The infotainment system also has both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
The 2018 Maserati GranTurismo will be offered in two versions, the Sport and the MC. Both versions are powered by a naturally aspirated 4.7-liter V8 engine that generates 460-hp and 384 lb-ft. of torque. The V8 is mated to a six-speed ZF automatic transmission. The GranTurismo Sport reaches 62 mph in 4.8 seconds and a top speed of 186 mph, while the lighter MC version speeds to 62 mph in 4.7 seconds and has a top speed of 187 mph.
