Lexus’ European vice-president Alain Uyttenhoven says an entry-level crossover is “not impossible” says it “made sense” for the brand. He wouldn’t confirm a potential launch date.

Today more than half of the automaker’s sales come from the North American market, but a smaller crossover would help boost Lexus’ sales in China, Europe and Japan. There is strong demand for smaller premium cars in other markets, like Europe.
