It’s being reported that General Motors is working on a competitor to the Ford F-150 SVT Raptor, but instead of building an off-road pickup based on the Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra, GM is going smaller.
It’s being reported that General Motors is working on a competitor to the Ford F-150 SVT Raptor, but instead of building an off-road pickup based on the Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra, GM is going smaller.
GM is reportedly working on more hardcore off-road versions of the smaller Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon pickups as a Raptor fighter. The midsize pickups are seen as the better option, since their lighter weight will give them better off-road capability.

Only time will tell if the reports are true, but GM did preview a off-road version of the Colorado in 2011 with the Colorado Rally Concept.
