While most automakers have chosen downsized turbocharged six-cylinder engines for its high performance models, Lexus has kept the V8 engine alive, in models like the RC F. We don’t expect that to continue much longer, but Lexus is reportedly working on a trio of high performance models that will celebrate the V8.

Japan’s Best Car is reporting that Lexus is preparing high performance F variants of the IS, LS and LC models. The IS F will get the 5.0-liter V8 that will generate 474 horsepower and 395 pound-feet of torque.

What’s more exciting, is the LS F and LC F are reportedly getting a new 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 with 661 hp and 480 lb-ft of torque. If that’s the case, the LS F will be able to rival other high perfomance sedans like the Mercedes-AMG S 63 and BMW M760Li.

As of right now Lexus has yet to confirm the report.
