Lexus recently asked fans to come up with a name for a new Orange color for the 2015 RC F and after receiving over 400 names, Lexus has settled on “Solar Flare” for the RC F.
Lexus received names like Fiery Orange, Outrageous Orange and Tangerine Flame. The Solar Flare name was entered by five Facebook fans. “Solar Flare was chosen as we think it captures the power and excitement of the RC F, as well as the impact of the paint finish itself,” stated Lexus UK director Richard Balshaw.

The RC F is expected to arrive early next year and will be powered by a naturally-aspirated 5.0L V8 with more than 450 horsepower.
