Volvo to Export Chinese-Built Long-Wheelbase S60L to the U.S.

Volvo’s Chinese owner Zhejiang Geely Holding Group is set to start exporting the Chinese built long-wheelbase S60L to the United States and Russia as early as next year.

Volvo’s Chinese owner Zhejiang Geely Holding Group is set to start exporting the Chinese built long-wheelbase S60L to the United States and Russia as early as next year.
The stretched version of the S60, called the S60L is expected to arrive by the end of next year and Volvo expects to export 10,000 S60Ls and a few thousand XC90s each year. “The dollar and the yuan have the best relationship, a more stable relationship than the euro and the dollar,” stated an unnamed Volvo executive.

The S60L is approximately 3.1-inches longer than the standard S60, which gives it more room for rear passengers.
