Land Rover is celebrating the 60th anniversary of the James Bond film franchise with the debut of a James Bond themed Defender 90 rally vehicle. Land Rover intends to enter the into the 2022 Bowler Defender Challenge with the special Defender 90, which will be piloted by Mark Higgens and Claire Williams on March 26.

The special Defender 90 features the trademark black and gold Bond livery and also has a special 007 60th logo on the roof and sides. It also gets some modifications, like a full roll cage, better cooling for the powertrain, a sports exhaust and rear roof spoiler. Lastly 18-inch Bowler wheels with all-terrain tires and a bespoke suspension design with modified subframes, new springs and unique turrets has also been added.

“The New Defender is a tough and capable vehicle when it leaves the production line and I’ve seen it perform really challenging stunts while on the set of No Time To Die,” said Mark Higgins, James Bond stunt driver and rally champion. “With the race ready enhancements made by the Bowler team and with Claire by my side we are confident we can have a great result.”
