Jeep is getting a Range Rover rival

Chrysler has reportedly confirmed plans to introduce a new luxury SUV for the Jeep brand that will rival other luxury SUVs, like the Range Rover. Fiat Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne revealed the news last week.

Chrysler has reportedly confirmed plans to introduce a new luxury SUV for the Jeep brand that will rival other luxury SUVs, like the Range Rover. Fiat Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne revealed the news last week.
“When I see a Range Rover on the street, my blood boils, because we should be able to do a thing like that,” Marchionne stated. “And we will.”

Currently the flagship in the Jeep lineup is the Grand Cherokee, but by 2018 the Grand Wagoneer will return, but the new Range Rover rival is expected to even sit on top of the larger Grand Wagoneer.

Marchionne hasn’t revealed when the Range Rover rival will be introduced.
