Jaguar is on a roll with its expansion. Following the the successful release of the F-Pace SUV, Jaguar is now getting ready to add another smaller SUV to the “Pace” lineup, called the E-Pace. Jaguar has released two teasers of the compact 2018 E-Pace SUV, which is going to debut on July 13.
The 2018 Jaguar E-Pace will borrow styling cues from the F-Pace and F-Type models
The E-Pace will be the third model to wear the “Pace” badge, which includes the F-Pace and the upcoming electric I-Pace. The E-Pace should help Jaguar’s sales momentum, which is already up 44 percent through May 2017 in the U.S.
Ian Callum, Director of Design, Jaguar, said, “The combination of sports car looks with Jaguar performance will ensure that the E-Pace stands out. Every Jaguar is designed to excite the senses, and we think E-Pace will do just that, albeit with its own individual character.”
With a price starting at $35,595 with the destination fees, the compact E-Pace SUV is going to be an easy sell. Jaguar hasn’t announced what will power the E-Pace, but it will be powered by Jaguar’s Ingenium engines and will come standard with all-wheel drive.
