A few weeks ago jaguar announced its new XE compact sedan, which is going to arrive in mid-2015. Now Jaguar has revealed that the XE will be available with the F-Type’s supercharged V6 engine.
Jaguar hasn’t confirmed if the XE will be available with both versions of the F-Type’s 3.0L supercharged V6, which generates either 340-hp or 380-hp. The XE is also going to be available with a range of new four-cylinder gas and diesel engines, which are being called Ingenium.

When the XE arrives it will go head to head with models like the Audi A4, BMW 3-Series and Mercedes-Benz C-Class.
