Yesterday Jaguar officially unveiled the all-new XE compact sedan, which will go on sale in Europe next year and in the U.S. sometime in 2016. Jaguar is now reportedly considering additional versions of the XE, which could see the introduction of an XE Coupe and Wagon.
The Jaguar XE is aimed squarely at the BMW 3 Series and so it make sense that Jaguar is looking at additional body styles to help the XE compete with the 3 Series and Mercedes-Benz C-Class. Nick Miller, the XE’s chief program engineer told CarAdvice that additional versions could be added in 2016, including a more powerful SVR version.
