The Jaguar XE is aimed squarely at the BMW 3 Series and so it make sense that Jaguar is looking at additional body styles to help the XE compete with the 3 Series and Mercedes-Benz C-Class. Nick Miller, the XE’s chief program engineer told CarAdvice that additional versions could be added in 2016, including a more powerful SVR version.

Nick Miller also confirmed that a production version of the C-X17 crossover concept will likely debut late next year with a different name.
