It’s been widely reported that Jaguar is working on a new flagship SUV, called the J-Pace, but now Jaguar has finally confirmed it. The new J-Pace will rival the BMW X5 and Porsche Cayenne.

Jaguar recently invited jurors of the World Car Award to its design studios where it revealed some of its future plans.

In addition to the J-Pace, Jaguar has also confirmed that it is working on replacements for the XE sedan and F-Type. It’s not known when the new XE will debut, but the 2020 XE did get a mild facelift, so the next-generation XE is likely a few years away.

Regarding the F-Type, a facelifted version has been spied. There have been rumors that the second generation F-Type will be offered with an all-electric powertrain.

What else is Jaguar planning? Well Jaguar may eventually go smaller with a lineup of “baby Jags” that may be called the A-Pace or B-Pace.
