Jaguar has yet to confirm any production plans for the C-X17 crossover concept that it unveiled last year, but prototypes of the Jaguar SUV have been caught testing. According to the latest reports the Jaguar SUV is slated to arrive sometime in 2016.
The Jaguar SUV will be based on the same aluminum architecture as the upcoming Jaguar XE compact sedan and will challenge the Porsche Macan with its dialed up sports car-like dynamics. It’s expected that the SUV will also remain about the same size as the concept with an interior that will be bigger than the Macan.

We can expect the SUV to be powered by a range of four-cylinder gas and diesel engines, but don’t rule out a high-performance supercharged version.
